BIO:

Eva Tikalsky is from Montgomery, Minnesota, with family roots tracing back to Třeboň, Czech Republic. At Gustavus Adolphus College, Eva has received the GAC Presidential Scholarship Award. During her time at Tri-City United High School, she earned superior ratings for her artwork at state competition, an academic letter in the arts, seven honor roll letters, second-place awards in One-Act, and the Outstanding Thespian Award for her theater performances.

Eva has been involved in Fall Play, Spring Play, One-Act, TCU Choir, TCU Encore Choir, TriFest, and ARTeam. This year at Gustavus, she hopes to rekindle her passion for theater.

Outside of academics and activities, Eva enjoys creative hobbies such as upcycling clothing, crafting, artwork, and creative writing. She also enjoys practicing bōjutsu and reading.

26 - 27 1st Princess

BIO:

Wren Zwaschka of Mankato, MN is a fifth generation Czech American. In 1868, Simon Mathiowetz, their great-great grandfather, came to Minnesota from Bohemia, Austria, now Přehýšov-Nýřany, Plzeň, Czechia. Wren plans to share their Czech and Slovak research with others while learning the assets of new friends that they will make.

26 - 27 2nd Princess

Evelyn Winget is currently a senior at Northfield. Evelyn comes from strong Czech roots as both sides of her family come from Czechia. Her dads side comes from the Transcarpathian region, and her mom’s side is from Mazelov, Bohemia.

Evelyn has been in 4-H for 13 years and shows animals at the Rice County Fair. She loves riding and working with her horse, Hyde, who she has had for 4 years.

Evelyn and her family enjoy keeping their Czech traditions alive.
